AMPONGAN, TERCIANO SWAP OFFICES, VOW TO STRENGTHEN PUBLIC SERVICE
 
In the interest of service and as part of the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) Bicol organizational development, Community Environment and Natural Resources Officer (CENRO) Daisy M. Terciano of Goa and CENRO Eduardo C. Ampongan of Sipocot swapped offices on January 20, 2024.
 
The two assumed their new posts through two (2) consecutive turnover ceremonies at CENRO Goa and CENRO Sipocot in Camarines Sur, respectively.
 
"Let us take this change on a positive note," said Assistant Regional Director for Technical Services (ARD-TS) Atty. Ronnel C. Sopsop. "Change in leadership in a government set-up is constant, and as public servants, we should be able to accept change. Let us take this as an opportunity to grow and become better, both as individuals and as DENR employees," he added.
 
Moreover, ARD for Management Services (ARD-MS) Ronnel B. Astor extended his congratulations to the two CENROs who he was able to work with in Camarines Sur.
 
"Supportive and dedicated, these two adjectives greatly represent CENROs Ampongan and Terciano. During my time as their PENRO, I have seen all their hard work to accomplish all their targets on time," he proudly said. "With their hard-earned credentials and supervisory experience, I am confident that both of them will help their new offices achieve greater heights," he added.
 
Moreover, CENRO Ampongan and CENRO Terciano who both led their respective offices for seven (7) years, vowed to serve their new jurisdictions with enthusiasm. They also pledged for continued public service that is improved, efficient and responsive to the needs of the community and its people.
 
Subsequently, DENR Bicol Regional Executive Director (RED) Francisco E. Milla, Jr. in his message thanked the two PENROs for their openness and trust. He also encouraged all CENRO Goa and Sipocot personnel to give their full support to their new leaders. “May this change of leadership strengthen our workforce and of course, the leadership of our two CENROs. I hope that as they grow to be the great leaders that they are, may they represent the novelty of perspective towards greater environmental growth,” he added.
 
The change in leadership in Camarines Sur was consonant with Regional Special Order No. 2024-007 dated January 11, 2024. ###
