1ST QUARTER PAMB MEETING FOR CATANDUANES NATURAL PARK SUCCESSFULLY CONVENED
 
The Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) Bicol through the Protected Area Management Board (PAMB) chaired by DENR Bicol Regional Executive Director (RED) Francisco E. Milla, Jr. conducted the 1st Quarter PAMB Meeting for the Catanduanes Natural Park on January 22, 2024 at ARDCI Hotel, Inc., Virac, Catanduanes.
 
Present during the meeting were the key officials of the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) Bicol, key stakeholders, national government agencies, local government officials, representatives from non-government organizations, and members of the community.
 
The meeting commenced with the discussion of the issues and concerns arising from the previous meeting by the Assistant Protected Area Superintendent (APASu), Mr. Mark Anthony D. Ordiz. Protected Area Superintendent (PASu) Editha A. Milan also presented the CatNP Integrated Protected Area Fund (IPAF) Account and Guidelines on the Use of Protected Area Retained Income Account (PA-RIA) per Implementing Rules and Regulations of the Republic Act No. 10629, and Biodiversity Management Bureau (BMB) Technical Bulletin Nos. 2019-02 and 2021-03.
