            The Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) Bicol through its Human Resource and Development Section (HRDS) recently spearheaded a learning event on the Environment and Natural Resources (ENR) Frontline Course for the Regional and Field Offices personnel.

            Out of the twenty three (23) who completed the course, Mikee Angela Balmedina, Credit Officer of Community Environment and Natural Resources Office (CENRO) Iriga topped the class. Francis Anthony Bombales, Administrative Assistant II from the Finance Division and Ma. Arlette Manzanades, Cartographer I from the Internal Audit Service followed as Salutatorian and 1st Honorable Mention, respectively.

            “Apply the knowledge you acquired in this learning event into your daily lives and raise the bar of public service as anchored in the DENR core values of discipline, excellence, nobility and responsibility,” said Assistant Regional Director for Technical Services Atty. Ronnel C. Sopsop.

            The ENR Frontline Course is one of the efforts of the DENR to provide learning opportunities designed to elevate the knowledge and understanding on ENR laws and to enhance the skills and competence of all DENR employees.

            Further, the ENR Frontline Course has been an avenue for the graduates to have a holistic idea of the mandate, vision and mission of the DENR, including the roles and functions of the different line agencies and research center of the Department, which will help enhance their skills in rendering effective and efficient public service to the different stakeholders.
