Camarines Norte covers twelve (12) municipalities and nine (9) from these have coastal areas, namely: Mercedes, Basud, Talisay, Vinzons, Paracale, Jose Panganiban, Capalonga, Daet - the smallest foreshore area and Santa Elena, which has the biggest foreshore area.
The presentation showed the socio-economic conditions, issues, concerns, opportunities and constraints in foreshore utilization and management. The proposed projects, criteria, and activities were also highlighted.
Furthermore, the DENR will chair the organizational structure as per National Foreshore Master Plan and will be co-chaired by the Provincial Government. The Foreshore Management Council (FMC) shall also be formed to craft and implement action plans that will coordinate with the PFDMP including all activities that will utilize the foreshore in partnership with different stakeholders.###
