CENRO SAN JACINTO INTENSIFIES IEC, MONITORS MARINE TURTLES AND NESTING SITES. The Community Environment and Natural Resources Office (CENRO) in San Jacinto, Masbate headed by OIC, CENR Officer Cesar Basil Camba urged the public to refrain from hunting marine turtles, locally known as “pawikan" during their recently conducted monitoring and information drive in Monreal, Masbate. Sightings of pawikan were observed and reported by residents in the said area. CENRO San Jacinto has appealed to the public to report incidents involving any wildlife stranding to authorities. The Office also appealed to the community to observe proper solid waste management and disposal.
