DENR BICOL LAUNCHES SEARCH FOR OUTSANDING OFFICE AND EMPLOYEES

The Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) V through its Program on Awards and Incentives for Service Excellence (PRAISE) Committee has launched a regional search for its outstanding office and employees in the Regional and Field Offices.

The search has five categories, namely: outstanding employee from salary grades one to nine, outstanding employee from salary grades 10 to 22, outstanding division chiefs from field offices, outstanding Provincial Environment and Natural Resources Office (PENRO) and outstanding Community Environment and Natural Resources Office (CENRO).

The conduct of the search aims to recognize and reward officials and employees of DENR V who have shown excellence and exemplary performance in the pursuit of the DENR mandated functions.

The basis for evaluation includes the review of the performance of the nominees for the last two semesters including extra-ordinary achievements outside the individual’s job, which brought recognition to the office the he or she belongs to.

Awardees shall receive cash incentives amounting to Php 20,000.00 each and a plaque of recognition. The awardees will also be credited with corresponding points if they apply for promotion in the future within the DENR V.

The awarding of the outstanding office and individuals is set on December 12, 2018 or on the schedule date of the regional Christmas Program.

With the conduct of this search, the management hopes to inspire the DENR employees to pursue excellence in the performance of their job duties and responsibilities.

The search will be carried on for the succeeding years to come according to DENR V key officials. (Article by: JNLoria)
