Key officials and employees of the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) V headed by Regional Executive Director (RED) Francisco E. Milla, Jr., CESO III, Environmental Management Bureau (EMB) V headed by Regional Director (RD) Engr. Ma. Socorro A. Abu, Ph.D and the Mines and Geosciences Bureau (MGB) V headed by RD Engr. Guillermo A. Molina, Jr., IV welcomed OIC, Assistant Regional Director (ARD) for Special Concerns (SC) Adona P. San Diego during the Monday Program at the DENR V Multipurpose Hall, Regional Center Site, Rawis, Legazpi City on March 13, 2023.
The event was graced by DENR Assistant Secretary (ASec) for Human Resources, Strategic Communication and Sectoral Initiatives Hiro V. Masuda.
With the presence of OIC, ARD San Diego in the DENR V, ASec Masuda reminded everyone to, “Use yourself as an instrument of change. Bilang isang lingkod bayan, hindi tayo dapat tumingin sa pansarili lamang, dapat tumingin tayo globally.”
Meanwhile, OIC, ARD San Diego thanked the management for the new opportunity to serve the public. "Let us work harder and follow the lead of our heads," she said.
OIC, ARD San Diego is a Bicolana and has been in the department for more than two decades. She started her career at the DENR Central Office as Clerk II in 1997 and rose from the ranks and recently got designated as OIC, ARD for SC by virtue of DENR Special Order No. 2023-79 dated March 7, 2023.###
