The Provincial Environment and Natural Resources Office (PENRO) of Catanduanes headed by PENR Officer Imelda D. Baltazar participated in the conduct of the Provincial Peace and Order Council Committee meeting held at the Conference Hall, Governor’s Office, Province of Catanduanes.

Updates on the fund utilization for CY 2021 Peace and Order Programs, Approval of Authority to Release Confidential Fund for CY 2022, and major accomplishments relative to the peace and order activities in the province as well as the status of insurgency were presented and discussed during the meeting.

PENR Officer Baltazar said that the Office aims to strengthen peace and order in Catanduanes for the growth and development of province especially in this time of pandemic.

Further, she said that PENRO Catanduanes continuously strives to achieve the visions of the Department through unity and partnership with different stakeholders, which is vital to the success of the Office’s future undertakings.

The committee meeting was participated by the members of the Peace and Order Committee, heads/representatives of other National Government Agencies (NGAs), law enforcers and other stakeholders. (with report from PENRO Catanduanes)
