The Community Environment and Natural Resources Office (CENRO) of San Jacinto, Masbate headed by OIC, CENR Officer Basil Cesar A. Camba spearheaded a clean-up activity in celebration of the National Zero Waste Month on January 28, 2020 in the coastal barangay of Burgos, Batuan, Masbate.
The clean-up activity was participated in by the residents and officials, and the beneficiaries of the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) of the said barangay. Likewise, the students and faculty members of Burgos National High School actively participated in the activity.
An orientation was conducted before proceeding in the various areas for clean-up.
The Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) along with its Field Offices continuously conduct activities such as clean-up drives to raise awareness on the importance of maintaining a clean and healthy environment. (With report from CENRO San Jacinto)*JNL
