CENRO GOA CONDUCTS IEC DRIVE TO ELEM STUDENTS

The Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) V through the Community Environment and Natural Resources Office (CENRO) Goa headed by CENR Officer Daisy M. Terciano conducted an Information Education Campaign to some eighty (80) elementary students on August 23, 2019 at the Gerardo Dumalasa Elementary School at Bonot-Sta. Rosa, Calabanga, Camarines Sur.

The IEC is aimed at informing the youth of the importance of taking care of the environment particularly our marine species.

Representing CENRO Terciano, Supervising Ecosystems Management Specialist (SvEMS) Myrna G. Baylon discussed Pawikan Conservation and Environment. "You are our future, so help us make your future better," she said.

To strengthen its mandate to conserve, protect and manage our natural resources, CENRO Goa continues to conduct IEC to various schools within their area of jurisdiction.

Meanwhile, Solid Waste Management was also discussed by their ENMO Jaycel D. Blanco.###
