DENR BICOL CONDUCTS TRAINING WORKSHOP FOR BUDGET PROPOSAL FOR FY 2023. The Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) Bicol headed by Regional Executive Director (RED) Francisco E. Milla, Jr., CESO III conducted a Training Workshop for Budget Proposal for FY 2023 on April 26 to 27, 2022 at the DENR V Hamada Hall, Regional Center Site, Rawis, Legazpi City. The training workshop was participated in by employees of the Regional and the Field Offices who serve as the budget controllers of their respective offices. The training workshop aimed to orient the employees on the budget timeline and provide support to the Offices in the preparation of budget allocation/expenditures.

PENRO CAM NORTE STRENGTHENS INFORMATION CAMPAIGN ON FLYING FOXES THRU GMA NEWS. The Provincial Environment and Natural Resources Office (PENRO) Camarines Norte headed by OIC, PENR Officer Marlon C. Francia strengthen its Information and Education Campaign (IEC) about Flying Foxes through an interview aired over GMA News. PENRO Francia said that the species are being closely monitored by the Office quarterly. Further, he explained the importance of flying foxes in the ecosystem. “Flying Foxes must be appreciated by our community because they play a vital role in balancing the ecosystem,” PENRO Francia added. PENRO CAM NORTE JOINS HANDGUN FAMILIARIZATION AND PRECISION TRAINING. The Provincial Environment and Natural Resources Office (PENRO) Camarines Norte headed by OIC, PENR Officer Marlon C. Francia joined the Handgun Familiarization and Precision Training spearheaded by the Camarines Norte Provincial Police Office (PPO) and Special Weapons and Tactics (SWAT) Team at Camp Wenceslao Q. Vinzons, Sr., Brgy. Dogongan, Daet, Camarines Norte. The training was attended by PENRO Francia together with the Monitoring and Enforcement Section (MES) employees and other staff. “PENRO Camarines Norte aims to equip and capacitate its personnel especially those who are deployed in the field in the exigency of the service,” PENRO Francia said.
