Youth desk officers from various DENR offices found some perfect holiday giveaways – woven novelties from waterlilies like bracelets, pouches, bags, coin purses, coasters and headbands -- during their tour of the Pasig River Rehabilitation Commission’s livelihood program in Baseco compound in Tondo, Manila on November 20, 2018. Around 30 women are under employ in the livelihood program, who meticulously weave dried waterlilies into cloth and turning them into such wonderful crafts for sale in Metro Manila to provide alternative income for the group. ###
