200 MANGROVE PROPAGULES PLANTED ON INTERNATIONAL WOMEN’S DAY. Some 200 mangrove propagules were planted at the Buntod Reef Marine Sanctuary, Masbate City. The planting was participated in by officials and personnel of the Provincial Environment and Natural Resources Office (PENRO) Masbate and Community Environment and Natural Resources Office (CENRO) Mobo including participants from Masbate Provincial Police Office (PPO), City Social Welfare and Development Office (CSWD) Masbate, and Samahang Mangingisda ng Puro Sinalikway (SAMAPUSI). The celebration of the International Women’s Day is mandated through Republic Act (RA) No. 6949 declaring March 8 of every year as National Women’s Day.
