PENRO CAM NORTE PLANTS 70 NARRA SEEDLINGS IN CELEBRATION OF THE INTERNATIONAL DAY OF FORESTS. The Provincial Environment and Natural Resources Office (PENRO) Camarines Norte headed by OIC, PENR Officer Marlon C. Francia spearheaded a tree growing activity in celebration of the International Day of Forests on March 25, 2022. Some seventy (70) Narra seedlings were planted at the Bicol Natural Park, Lupi, Camarines Sur. “PENRO Camarines Norte aims to highlight the importance of forests to the people and its role to our biodiversity,” PENRO Francia said. The DENR Bicol celebrates the IDF to raise awareness on the importance of forest preservation and encourage citizens to undertake local efforts, organize and support tree planting and growing activities and other campaigns toward protection and revival of ecosystems in the Region.
