WINNING IMAGE FOR THE IDBD 2022 PHOTO MARATHON CONTEST. The plant bugs which emit stinky odor when threatened, were found lined-up undisturbed on a leaf at Bulusan Volcano Natural Park (BVNP) and became one of the subjects of the DENR Bicol Team Oragon for the Kabahagi: An International Day for Biological Diversity (IDBD) 2022 Capture Quest, a photo marathon contest organized by the DENR Biodiversity Management Bureau (BMB) in partnership with Canon Philippines. The straight-out-of-camera photo was the entry for the Flora and Fauna Category and also one of the five photos, which won in the said Contest.
