DENR ASEC GONZALES LEADS BAMBOO PLANTING IN ALBAY

Department of Environment and Natural Resources OIC, Assistant Secretary for Field Operations - Southern Luzon Engr. Gilbert C. Gonzales leads the planting of Bamboo (Bambusa blumeana) culms at Sitio Magiron, Barangay Balinad, Polangui, Albay. The bamboo planting is part of the initiatives on the riverbank stabilization under the Intensified Watershed Management, which is the Key Result Area (KRA) 6 of the Build Back Better Task Force otherwise known as the “Strengthening Rehabilitation and Recovery Efforts in Typhoon-Hit Areas Through the Creation of the Build Back Better Task Force”.
