An Eastern Grass Owl ((Tyto longimembris) was rescued by Mr. Dindo Cabezudo of Purok 2, Barangay Binanuaan, Talisay, Camarines Norte. The bird was seen hopping in his backyard with an injured right tarsus. He immediately reported the incident to the Provincial Environment and Natural Resources Office (PENRO) Camarines Norte for proper care and rehabilitation. Accordingly, PENRO Personnel John Mark Violeta and Irickson Basilio responded and rescued the said species and brought the same to Mananap Monitoring Station at San Vicente, Camarines Norte.
