4Ps beneficiaries from Barangay Manambrag of San Andres town in Catanduanes receive their two (2) food packs from the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) for the 4-day Bamboo planting activity. The Bamboo planting is spearheaded by the Provincial Environment and Natural Resources Office (PENRO) Catanduanes headed by PENRO Imelda D. Baltazar in partnership with the DSWD, Local Government Unit (LGU) of San Andres, Catanduanes led by Mayor Peter S. Cua as part of the Key-Result-Areas (KRA) 6, which is the Intensified Watershed Management under the Executive Order (EO) 120 otherwise known as “Strengthening Rehabilitation and Recovery Efforts in Typhoon-Hit Areas through the creation of the Build Back Better Task Force” signed by President Rodrigo Roa Duterte last November 18, 2020. The 4Ps beneficiaries planted some one thousand nine (1,009) Bamboo culms at Manambrag River.
