The Community Environment and Natural Resources Office (CENRO) of Goa, Camarines Sur headed by CENR Officer Daisy M. Terciano in coordination with the Philippine National Police (PNP) and the Local Government Unit (LGU) of Lagonoy, Camarines Sur seized sixteen (16) and ten (10) pieces of assorted dimensions of abandoned Dipterocarp species (Red and White Lauan) with an aggregate volume of 464.33 board feet at Sitio Maybatag and Sitio Bolo, Barangay Genorangan, Lagonoy, Camarines Sur. CENRO Terciano said that a comprehensive investigation is being conducted to identify the persons involved in the said illegal activities for the filing of appropriate legal charges, particularly the violation of the Revised Forestry Cose, as amended.
