The Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) V headed by OIC, Regional Executive Director (RED) Antonio A. Abawag, CESO IV convened with the members of the Regional Anti-Illegal Logging Task Force (RAILTF) at the DENR V Hamada Hall, Rawis, Legazpi City on December 11, 2020. Updates on the crackdown on illegal logging within the region were discussed in the meeting. Moreover, OIC, RED Abawag emphasized the urgent creation of the Enforcement of Natural Resources (ENR) Laws Committee. “We need to strengthen the enforcement of ENR laws in the region with the assistance and support of all law enforcement agencies,” he said.
