DENR BICOL CONDUCTS ANNUAL ASIAN WATERBIRD CENSUS

The Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) Bicol through the Conservation and Development Division (CDD) along with some representatives from the Provincial Environment and Natural Resources (PENRO) and Community Environment and Natural Resources (CENRO) of the different provinces in Bicol spearheaded the conduct of the Annual Asian Waterbird Census last January 14-18, 2020 in Cabusao Wetland Critical Habitat, Cabusao, Camarines Sur and at the Island Wildlife Sanctuary of Chico and Naro in Cawayan, Masbate. The AWC is an annual event, which takes place once a year, during the second and third weeks of January.
