The Provincial Environment and Natural Resources Office (PENRO) Sorsogon welcomed its new Officer-In-Charge (OIC) PENR Officer Tito R. Migo in a turnover ceremony on November 20, 2020 at PENRO Sorsogon, Balogo, Sorsogon City.

OIC, Assistant Regional Director (ARD) for Technical Services, Atty. Ronnel C. Sopsop led the turnover and acceptance of leadership and responsibilities for the incoming Provincial Chief and outgoing PENR Officer, Herleo O. Pavericio. ARD Sopsop warmheartedly introduced PENRO Migo to all PENRO Sorsogon employees, who in turn assured to give their full support to the new provincial chief.

Meanwhile, PENRO Pavericio in his message expressed his gratitude to all personnel during his short stint as Officer-In Charge. Likewise, PENRO Pavericio handed over PENRO Sorsogon’s accomplished target as of November 15, 2020 including its remaining activities, plans and programs for 2020 to the new chief. In his acceptance message, PENR Officer Migo encouraged everyone to keep in mind and practice the DENR Mission, Vision and Mandate in providing efficient service for the people and environment. PENRO Migo served as head of PENRO Masbate from March 16, 2011 to November 10, 2020. Under the new normal, all personnel present during the activity adhered to safety protocols, practiced social distancing and wore facemasks.
