Through the partnership with the various Local Government Units (LGU), Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP), Provincial Health Units, City Health Offices, the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH), the Provincial and Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (PDRRMC and MDRRMC) and the Alpha Phi Omega - Guinobatan Alumni Association (APO-GAA), the disinfection activities were conducted inside and outside the office premises.

The DENR Bicol headed by OIC, Regional Executive Director Atty. Gil A. Aromin ordered the disinfection as a way of keeping the surroundings clean and free from the virus. The activity is also a way of the Department to protect its clients and employees from possible transmission of the virus when the Enhanced Community Quarantine (ECQ) is lifted and when the work and official transactions resume.

Further, the Department is continuously calling the public to maintain the cleanliness of the environment even in the midst of the ECQ. Proper segregation and disposal of wastes, especially hospital wastes such as disposable face masks, gowns and hand gloves is strictly encouraged by the DENR to help prevent the risk of transmitting the disease. Aside from social distancing and proper hygiene, maintaining the cleanliness of our surroundings and responsible waste management are great factors cited by the Department to help defeat the pandemic.
