DENR BICOL ASSESSES POTENTIAL ECOTOURISM SITE

The Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) through the Conservation and Development Division (CDD) recently assessed the Omagom Spring at Barangay Gulang-Gulang in Irosin, Sorsogon. The Omagom Spring which boast of cold, clear water and flora and fauna species was identified as a potential ecotourism site by the Local Government Unit (LGU) of Irosin, Sorsogon. According to the barangay officials, the spring is also the water source of the community since the Spanish Era.
