SEABORNE ANTI-ILLEGAL LOGGING PATROL

The Regional Anti-Illegal Logging Task Force (RAILTF) is on the look out for illegal logging operators using the Lagonoy Gulf as a transit point of illegally-cut timber. As of August 26, 2014, an estimated 75,000 000 board feet (bd. ft.) of hot logs consisting of prime hardwood quality in Partido Area,  Camarines Province has been confiscated by the RAILTF. The joint task force is a composite team of personnel from the Phil. Navy, Phil. Air Force, Phil. Army, Phil. National Police, National Bureau of Investigation and the DENR.
