|Winston Bowman, Climate Change Advisor of USAID talks on the Environmental Law Enforcement Summit today in Legazpi City. The USAID and US Department of the Interior sponsored paralegal confab was participated in by the Regional Law Enforcement Coordinating Council 5. In the summit, DENR Bicol Regional Executive Director Gilbert Gonzales emphasized the two major programs of the government relative to environmental law enforcement, Executive Order No. 23, the moratorium of cutting and harvesting of timber in natural and residual forest across the country; and Executive Order No. 26 or the national greening program (NGP).
