DBP SIGNS ACCORD WITH DENR BICOL

A climate change mitigation project covering 50 hectares with 1.5 M peso grant for Naro Island Protected Area in Cawayan, Masbate is the subject of an accord signed by DENR  Bicol, the local government of Cawayan and Development Bank of the Philippines officials. The DBP Forest Project for Naro Island was made possible by Park Superintendent Carmen Gases of DENR Masbate. It covers four barangays in Naro Island,  a protected area teeming with seaweeds, abalone, crabs and other commercially important seashells.
