DENR Undersecretary Benny Antiporda (in suit and tie) answers queries from members of the Philippine Tour Operators Association (PHILTOA) on the rehabilitation of Boracay island. Antiporda stressed that hotel and establishment operations after the island’s opening on October 26 will be limited only to those accredited as compliant with environmental laws and other government regulations. He also expressed pride that “a much better Boracay” awaits tourists upon entry to the island.
